Tomorrow Never Dies
Lyrics
Transcribed by Mun-Hou Lo
Deep, deep in the still of night
And I'm fighting back the tears
Out, out of the city lights
Where only I can hear
Promises, all he ever makes are promises
Do they come from deep inside his heart?
I was captured by his lies
And the passion in his eyes
Tomorrow never dies
He put a spell on me
Like so many other girls [sic!]
Words are no guarantee
All the better world
For loving him, I'm so crazy for loving him
But there's only cold inside his heart
Using words to hypnotize
Taking cities as his prize
Tomorrow never dies
Where, where did the sunshine go?
I remember summer nights
Warm, not so long ago
In his arms, so tight
Promises, all he ever made were promises
Did they come from deep inside him?
Loving him, I'm so crazy for loving him
But there's only cold inside
And I know that he's never gonna let me go
Cause tomorrow never dies

The liner notes say:
About 500 people were asked to write a song for this James Bond film
including The Cardigans, Pulp, Space and us. Hence about 500
B-sides appeared soonafter with subtle variations on this title. Here's
our unsubtly titled demo. Apologies for the cassette quality, but the
master tape was nicked by Pierce Brosnan who claims it is "seven times
better than Sheryl Crow."
